So it’s been a month and a few days now and still have yet to receive a call back or even an email from this property management group I’ve called almost every week for an update on what’s happening and I get told the same thing every time “you should receive a call or email within 5 business days” which never happens. I’ve even driven from Charlotte to kannapolis to actually speak to someone in person about what was happening, it was then when I found out they couldn’t access my paystub, however because of my job it isn’t easily accessible it requires a password for it to be viewed so I put it in on their computer and watched the lady behind the desk print it off (had I not driven there I would have never known)and was told again that I should receive an email or call which still never happened atp I want a refund on my application because I just gave them my money and literally didn’t even get an email about what’s happening with my application and I can only be patient for so long I mean it’s been a month! And I’m trying to move!

This is just my own personal experience with Capstone… I have never rented from them but I did place an application in to rent from them. I waited about a week to two weeks thinking I would hear back but never got a call from them. I ended up calling them and they said that only one individual is able to pull up applications and see if I was qualified. I called several times over the next couple weeks and she was just never available from what they were saying. She had either gone home early or was in a meeting. Always some type of excuse as to why she could not take my call. After about the third week I finally get a call back letting me know that I was approved to rent from them but by that time I had already decided to go elsewhere. I do feel like if I’m going to spend the $50 on an application fee they should have more people readily available to assist.

The lady answering is rude. When tell me the guidelines for adults, I inquired if a person is over 18 but listed as a dependent (elderly people) why are the required to have 3 time the income. I informed her I didn't think that was legitimate for a "dependent". She replied since you seem to be having a hard time understanding my words let me get you someone else. No, I understand what you said but there's a such thing as adult dependents. Tons of people care for elderly relatives who can't take care of themselves. That's why they need help in the 1st place. instead of being rude why not simply redirect. Since another question was posed.

This company is very misleading, they send emails stating one thing, and when you call they tell you something different smh I should have keep my $50 app fee and went elsewhere.
