Usually none actually get euthanized now unless it's medically necessary. Rescues are amazing and pull so many. Rowan used to be a high kill shelter but the past few years it has gotten better and better. Local rescue groups are on top of it making sure that no adoptable animal has to die. Rescues even pull the feral cats for barn homes and feral colonies. It is still a kill shelter so they HAVE TO list a date.
Yes they do. They even post a date for it. Only give animals about 2 weeks
