No. This is a kill shelter, if you look at their Facebook page they give each animal a set amount of time to be adopted before euthanizing the animal.

No. But they are very good about not killing. Most go to rescues and are adopted.

Disgusting they only give them 2 weeks to be adopted out and only 3 days to be claimed by an owner. My dog is currently there they were closed all weekend his adoption day starts today and they have already interviewed 3 people who do want him yet I’ve claimed he’s my dog....it wasn’t my fault they were closed all weekend and Friday

I live near the Rowan shelter, they make every possible effort to shuttle those babies out to no kill rescues! I know of a situation when they took in a min pin that wouldn’t let anyone near him w/o growling, snarling or biting! They had a special foster to work with that dog until he was adoptable, they’re just as good with cats! I am tired of seeing negative posts about people that l know work so hard every day to place these furbabies! Go visit and walk some dogs and see for yourself or hush up! Ty El! 🐶
