My research shows that the medication that my wife takes is known to show a false negative. They refused to retest her. I know for a fact that she has been taking this every night for the last 12 to 13 years. I have talked to other doctor's who I see, and was told that this could easily be a mistake by the testing facility or a corrupted sample. But her doctor refused to acknowledge that.
All drug screens have the possibility of being misread/mislabeled leading to a possible incorrect outcome. With that being said* I agree that your wife should go to another doctor. She is definitely NOT the only person whom has had issues with the psysichian's assistant you question was regarding.
It's probably standard procedure. Technically, if you're not taking medicine as prescribed its abuse (even cutting tylenol in half). If it didn't show in her drug screening it means she hasn't been taking it like she's supposed to. Just a thought..? 🤷🏼♀️ (Not saying your wife abuses drugs in anyway. You should probably take her to Rocky Mount if she really needs the medicine).
