I don't know the vaccination history of an unclaimed 7-8 month old stray I have decided to keep. She is scheduled for spay next Tuesday. Would it be better to do vaccinations separate from spay? She appears to be very healthy.

Get the shots at the same time as the spay. I did, and it didn't slow down our girl in the least.

they gave my dog his shots on the same day as his surgery

I took an outdoor stray cat down to have it sprayed and vaccination done and they did both of them in the same day. It did not seem to bother the cat at all.

Allow the veterinarian to tell you what to do

I personally would do the vaccines at the time of the spay. If whoever had her did not get her fixed it's doubtful they had her vaccinated.
