I am sorry for all of you who are having difficulties with this ministry my experience was different and I am looking for help again. 2 years ago I was renting a house and fell behind and needed help. The process was like any other process where you need help. I believe I drove down there because it was difficult getting through on the phone. I did intake and was given an appointment to come back with all my paperwork so I would suggest bringing everything with you Birth Certificates, social cards, rent or utility bill, income info, other residents info etc. Anywhere you go for help you will need all the same documents . They help with a huge portion of my rent buy I needed to come up with the rest and show a receipt for paying that portion and they will issue a check for the balance. The experience was painless. And quick. It was worth what ever hoops you have to jump through. From what I see it says temporarily closed but when you call it says fill out online application. If you are getting a hold of scammers then someone has hacked their website because this organization is a Godsend. It was 2019 when I got assistance. I will update with my experience this go round.

Horrible SCAM! Beware that the five-star reviews are all posted by this groups of scammers, hackers. They post as if they are providing utility bill assistance, and if you buy their fraud and apply, they collect (now online) all your life information, then pretend to "following up" by two phone-calls within 10 minutes (all in night hours so you will not pick up the phone) then suggesting "we cancelled your appointment because you did not respond to our phonecalls). They did it to me four times. After followed a barrage of Nigerian scammers calling for various fraudulent purposes. BCM has nothing to do with "Christianity." They are notorious scammers and soon will face jail time.

Geesh i dont call i normally just go in they do give you maximum help and they wont stop until your satisfied no i didnt get paid to write this im just writting this to tell you to just go up there alot people go up there because its so busy sometimes theres no way theyll be able to answer the phone from time to time. They're open from 8 to 4
Yes, they'll provide a hygiene kit. As for cleaning supplies, it wouldn't hurt to ask! The staff is very helpful and you never know what donations may have come in.
They help people but it is really hard to get someone to answer. Also you have to have part of the money they dont pay the whole thing for you. BCM also helps with food,clothing, and have computers for you to use to look up employment or apply for foodstamps. I hope everything works out for you and your baby. They open @ 8am-4pm Monday,Tuesday,Thursday,Friday closed on Wednesdays. I know they use to have a transitional program as well i dont know if they still do that. Where do you live now?
You have to keep calling they don't have call waiting. Lot's of people call thar line daily. Or pay them a visit and explain you keep getting busy signal.
Well you will find a more reasonable and decent room and up to date room on Virginia Avenue at Motel 6.
