I have an evo with the S&S Sidewinder set-up in it. 89" stroker flywheels and bored .020 with 10.5/1 compression with S&S carb and 585 cam. Dave tuned it and got me 100'# and 90hp. AND the rideability is excellent. I highly recommend Custom Cycle Corner!
I had a Sportster they tuned, and it ran so well afterwards! It was an '89 so they reworked the ignition, carb jets and tuned it on the dyno. Best money I spent and they were very reasonable too. I have an '07 883 now and can't wait to get it in to tune after I open up the air flow. I am betting it'll be a whole new bike afterwards. I just do not see the use in buying a $400 interface and adding presets from the internet, when I can simply take it here and have them tweak it properly for less than half that cost.
They dyno tuned mine and its does fine. The other place across town done it before that and I wasn't happy.
I've not actually had the need to Dyno my own bike but a very good friend of mine had his Harley Davidson done there & was very pleased. Unfortunately that's the only experience i can share, haven't heard anything negative. I would say you would be pleased with the service. Ask for David, i think he's the one who does it.
Excellent, thank you. I'm in the final stages of completing my race bike and need to get it broken in and tuned for a couple test days before the end of season. Then be prepared for next year. There are few places in Knoxville for a convenient Dyno test and tune, so I'm glad to hear there's someone local that our team can trust. Thanks again
David know what he is doing. Yes have him do it but closed on Mondays and Sunday.
