I have NYC salt water fishing license. Do I need Any other special fishing license/permit to do fishing at field 6 ?

I don't think they will allow fishing there it's just for those who want to enjoy the beach

First, you would need a New York State (not City) fishing license. You also need to know that Firld 6 primarily serves a swimming beach area. There are signs indicating where there is fishing rast of the swimming area. I do not know of any othe regulations or restrictions.
