Jones Beach Field 6

I was there last night for the fireworks until 10 as were a slew of other people, so on the 4th it's cool. But otherwise they close at dusk and State Troopers patrol often, so be on your best behavior, State cops don't play, they are by the book.

No. Neither drink liquor nor fish if it is not a specific area..and with all the legal permits by the law of the state of ny.

It's open this summer,I went to jones beach last week and some people used them at field 6.

No grills on beach.

Not overnight. But u can bring your tent

I don't think they will allow fishing there it's just for those who want to enjoy the beach

It's hit or miss with field 6. There are times that it reaches full capacity by 10:30 and sometimes you get lucky and can get in at 12:00 noon

Yes you can buy WiFi at the lifeguard stand for $3.00 per gig, or swim out to the first buoy and get it for free there. Your choice. Hope this helps

Field 6 you have to get there super early. Its a small parking lot. Closes out pretty fast. Field 4 huge parking lot. Yes u have to go thru a tunnel but I have always felt safe.

I never see the bbq facilities on this beach

Don't know if people still do, plus those grills are nasty. If you do, bring your own grill and stay just off the lot.

It's free during the week until Memorial day. I think they still charge on weekends during September.
