Free clinics mean , just that right?
The New York City Health Department asks for a fee for Sexual Health Clinic services given to adults (age 19 and over). All services are free for patients 18 years and younger. If you want to use your health insurance to pay for the visit, your insurance plan will be billed. If you do not have health insurance or do not want to use your health insurance, you can still receive services. You would not need to pay out-of-pocket for any treatment that you are prescribed.
If you're 18 or under then yes. But if you're 19 or older you might have to pay a low cost for treatment but they do work with you, your income, and your insurance situation to find a payment option that's best for you.
