You have to go to the one for the county you were in. Evennof you went to another facility in Cobb you still have to wait in line then wait again for a response if you have a case pending. I don't know your situation if it's new application or a renewal. So I can't really give you any specific answer but im not aware of any rush situations. But if they drag their feet they do give back months all at once. I renewed once and didn't get mine for 2 months, but then it all game together. That was the most stressful, sad and nerve wrecking period ever. And I went up there 3 times and still had to wait 2 months. Due to processing. It's the system,unfortunately.

You can go to any DFCS office in the state. We service all offices at any office. If you don't have food stamps you would need to go in asap and apply to see if you qualify for expeditited in which if you're approved you will receive within 7 days. If you don't get approved for expedited then it would be standard within 30 days. The best thing to do is go into the office and apply and get an interview that day if you qualify for expedited. It's hard to reach anyone on the phones because the state is so behind. Hope this helps.
