It was ridiculous. I have uploaded the paperwork 3 times since 8/28/19. My kid is asthmatic so I need an answer or at least for them to process the paperwork! I got to leave my job and get there at 3:45. They had the decency to tell me no more numbers. I didn’t care and told them I will wait till someone see me. I still gave the paperwork to a caseworker in her hand on October 23!!! Can you believe that today is 12/9/19 and I still don’t have an answer or an approval for peach care for kids! I called peach care for kids already and they said it’s still showing pending!!! They should close that office!! They don’t care of kids being jeopardized without insurance!!!
Were on 2 months no food stamps because my worker hasn't even attempted to look at my review from two months ago.
All DEFAC offices are alike. If you want to talk to someone you have to go to the office

At 53, disabled & new to the area... starting the process here sounds like a nightmare. I need help with food stamps, assistance paying my Medicare plan B&D & housing (they already told me it was closed & gave me a bunch of sheets of info to do online). That was in Dec 2019. Its mid Feb 2020 now and needless to say, I was deeply discouraged & I haven't been back or filed any paperwork yet. Now I feel hopeless to do so. And my granddaughter WORKS for CPS.... so not even an inside track to success by KNOWING SOMEBODY!! Smh. GOD HELP US ALL
This happens to me every time I renew.. 3 months and nothing but my case is still active.
