We stayed there in December. It met our clean & no bug requirements. We dont stay in 5star places. Would stay again.

Management harassed us, bed was moldy, rugs ripped, door did NOT shut or lock, ph didn't work, front desk doesn't answer phones, EXTORTION TACTICS USED. Mgmt harassed us over moving rooms due to someone wanting our poolside room! Son overheard mgmt saying someone wanted our room so they were going to move us regardless. We prepaid 3 nights, they adv no discount if we moved and threatened to have us evicted by cops unless we paid extra for dogs! Remember our door did NOT shut or lock, plus declared the dogs @ check in. Mgmt admitted it. Kevin-night clerk marked 2 svc dogs. She chgd for both. The nasty room made me sick to point I almost went to ER, w/i 10 min of leaving, all symptoms gone! This place is horrible - shame on them. Disputed chgs: pd via Priceline, during Daytona 500, deathly sick & nowhere else to go. Bella Oasis REFUSED 100% saying svcs rendered! DON'T FEAR THE GATORS NEXT DOOR ....... BEWARE OF EXTORTION FROM BELLA OASIS MANAGEMENT & THE UNKEPT NASTY ROOMS!
Too the person that mentioned they didn't eat the food... They actually have very good food at the bar grill. We live in the area and pick this place to eat on a pretty regular basis.
You get what you pay for. I booked on late notice, during a holiday weekend, so all the name brand hotels in the area, which are more expensive, were sold out. The hotel and its furniture shows its age. There are not enough outlets for the modern traveller, we had to unplug lamps to charge our devices, the lamps don't have plugs like I've seen in other hotels. The only complaint I had was the coffee pot hasn't been cleaned, and there was mold in it. The room was otherwise clean. The Gator Cove, for a hotel bar, was well stocked and crowded, but I didn't eat the food. The location is great, if you are going to the spring to swim with manatees, etc.

We stayed there about a month ago. The first room that they gave us smelled very musty. We got put in another room and that wasn't much better.

Not really, we have stay there during scalloping season. Pretty decent.
