Oh my gosh! Sea cows! The one marine mammal our daughter was aching to see and she got her wish! From the beautiful and informative boat ride, to seeing manatees, and all the bird life, this place is a tropical hidden gem. Being tourists, this is just the kind of place we needed to see. Get there in the morning during the week so it's not so crowded. It'll pick up the later in the day it gets, especially with families. There is only 1 downfall, but it didn't lessen my review. They have a smoking section outside one of the buildings, and unfortunately, it's still too close. We opened the doors from the exhibit and the cigarette smoke just wafted and clouded us! The smell was horrible. It would be nice if this area were elsewhere in the Park. But again, our overall experience was great!

A must visit if you’re in the area. There are raised walkways throughout the park which are easy to navigate and there are plenty of benches and water fountains should you need a break. Most of the walkways are shaded as well. The assortment of animals was awesome. There is also a snack bar with hot food and ice cream at the entrance. We are a fairly fit family and made it through in about 2 hours taking time to read the informative plaques and enjoy the animals. The highlights were the hippo and the underwater viewing capsule in the spring, the assortment of fish we saw was mind blowing.

Wonderful wildlife park!! Found this driving around and decided to stop. No charge to park. We entered on the west side and went straight in to the pavilion/guest shop area and got tickets to the wildlife walk. 13 dollars a person well spent - they have so many different animals and some amazing birds. Most of the birds have been injured so they do not have any netting on their enclosures. The animals all look happy as well. There are manatees in treatment there as well as an underwater viewing area. Great visibility and was not packed. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at the park. I did not expect to see so many birds and animals. We went in December and it was manatee galore, what an amazing way to see these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. I think the entrance fee was around $13 per person, they shuttle you to the park, such a great walk! I also didn't realize how much other wildlife they have, a hippo, bears, other small animals, some reptiles, and many birds! It's worth the admission as you'll get to see a lot!

It's paved sidewalk. You can pick and choose how much you want to walk. The boat ride from the visitors center us very nice. Benches and resting areas. I say go for it.
