You get refered by a social worker, and then it's immediate. They call the shelter, you go for an appt. with their worker, to do intake, and then if they take you, you get immediatly. If they haven't changed, then look for dirty rooms. They expect you to do all your own house keeping, without the materials to do so. The one my kids stayed in, was very basic. 2 twin beds, desk, dresser. Fridge was downstairs in the office. Open to everyone, on the honor system. They don't allow ANY visitors. NONE. It's mom, dad, kids inside. No other family allowed with them. (I'm talking from experience here. I wasn't allowed, because I wasn't a part of the parental party. They didn't care if I slept out on the street. Bathroom use? Go find something You aren't allowed inside the gates to use ours. Ues, gates. You have to ring to get in and out. ) There are 2 buildings. One is called the Aristocrat hotel. Good luck if you get in here. I think the max stay is 3 weeks.
Do you have to have a colorado id?
Actually, they do clean the rooms, once per week. Its not a hotel n u are responsible for the cleanliness of your area. You can be referred as a respite client from a medical facility n need recuperation time. The VA do refer homeless veterans there, while they are waiting for housing. Dhs do refer homeless family with children as well. The process is that you report the same day you recieve your referral.
I think the person above me answered that question for me
