Hi, I'm doing research and was wondering since the legalization of cannabis in your state has there been a decrease in the homeless population? Have donations increased? Are there any allotments towards any shelters to assist people and families?

Here's the truth there's more homeless now than ever. Apartment's are out of control expensive. minimum wage is not enough to cover the of cost of living. There's not enough housing.

No there are more homeless in CO cuz of cannabis. I came to CO for the cannabis to help me with my medical problems and I was homeless when I first got here. But now I have an apt work full time and my medical conditions have improved. And Denver try to do what it can for the homeless but alot of them here choose to be that way.

thats a big one there are absolutely no shelters for married couples with no children. Married couples either arent excepted or split into entirely different facilities

Homeless come from different states and have made it harder for the others to get proper help especially housing. 😔

Yes there are more homeless people now because of the cannabis! And the help to get off the street is not that great in less you have children! Myself and my wife have been homeless for 3 years now! She is in a wheelchair and needs my help to get out of bed and sometimes to get dressed! If we had any children we could go to a shelter, but no shelters for married couples!
