Since your front desk staff is not 24hrs how is someone supposed to get help after 11pm? Had a couple of your guests contact us, a hotel near you, becuase they got locked out and there was no one to help them

They did explain at the desk they were closed at a certain time and gave some instructions...but I have forgotten what they were. But they had it covered.

They should have an emergency contact that you could call if it's something that can't wait. Call and make a suggestion.
