I am looking for a hand tool that was used in single jacking into rock to form a hole into which black powder was placed..I need a detailed image of the tip which a blacksmith would sharpen. preferably 1700-1800 period.

If I remember correctly most of the static displays of tools were 19th century and later not 18th century.
