So many beautiful gems and minerals! Also a lot of info about mining downstairs, though I ran out of time to read it all. There's also a geological trail nearby with dinosaur tracks you should check out while you're here.

It's free so stay as little or as long as you like. Last time I took my 11 y.o. he was so into it we spent 2 hrs. And this is after probably 5 or 6 visits!

I am looking for a hand tool that was used in single jacking into rock to form a hole into which black powder was placed..I need a detailed image of the tip which a blacksmith would sharpen. preferably 1700-1800 period.
