There are several options, and as I've just found out, Google does not allow me to write them all down - darn character limit. Google Maps has all of the options that are available. You can take several buses, trolleys, the el, the subway, or a combination of them. To minimize walking (though I personally love walking) I would take any of the eastbound buses on Market Street across the street from the station then transfer to a northbound 2 bus on 16th and Market Street. That drops off at 16th and Vine or 16th and Callowhill, and then you'd walk o the temple (about a block). Or take any of the eastbound buses on Market Street, get off at 18th Street. Walk one block north to 18th and JFK and take the 32 bus to Vine Street and walk about a block to the temple. Edit: You could take SEPTA Regional Rail from 30th Street Station one stop to Suburban Station, then walk up 17th Street four blocks/15 mins.
