If you made through an app you would have to cancel through them, or calling thr hotel itself at least 24 hours before your check in date in order for them not to charge you.
Call them personally unless u reserved through agency like choice wyndham
I didn't pay they said i can pay when i make it there
Mine was no return, if I cancelled and paid on line I would have lost my money
