Is this worth a train ride or drive over from NYC? Looking somewhere to take my almost 13 year old son for his birthday next week. Is there enough rides/activities to keep him entertained.

I think, it is not so worth. It is small. You may be disappointed as I did.

My 8 years old daughter was entertained enough for her Birthday with all just general/Basic rides! I think more than enough activities over there!

You might want to hold off until everything is open. Unless he's an Ice skater.
