There are many toy stores and place to purchase toys or gifts. I don't recall seeing a toys r us near the water park or nickelodeon side. Maybe a different part
I don’t know which wing of the mall it will open in, but there is an interactive map at every entrance and intersection in the mall, so you can use one of those. It has a pretty large slot, so you should be able to see it from the central area.
