I know it's been a long time since you asked the question, but others may be in a similar situation. If you have a really old ball, IMO it would be best to go ahead and invest in a new one rather than redrill your old one. The lane oils and ball technology has changed a lot and your old ball may not perform as well as you expect. I tried that and couldn't get my old ball to hook like it did before. I finally bought a new ball and it made a huge difference in my scores. I also found that I did better with a lighter ball.
I found online that they usually charge $50 to drill plus $15 for a slug so your looking at $65 but thats what i found I could be wrong all i can advise is that you drop by if your in the area or just call the shop yourself and ask😁 sorry i couldnt do more to help
I believe $35 - $50
