ENTER FROM NORTHBOUND! If you are traveling south to PNC, go PAST and turn around at the next exit. I'm certain I saved over an hour this way.
Went on a Wednesday. Got there bout 6pm. Waited for an hour before saw lights.
Mon-thurs are less crowded,. I went at 8:30 on a wednesday and only had 2 turns in the que line (about 15 min to ticket checker)
Try to go Monday - Friday but go early between 3 to 5pm. I think in the time is more close to Christmas will be more busy!
At 3pm people are lined up already eatting pizza in car I have seen .. rush starts at 5pm
We visited on a weekday, there was no line. Anytime is good. They just let you go.. Just keep your ticket ready for them to scan and you are done. In between somewhere, there is a photo booth kind of thing, it is upto you if you want or not. You stay in car, stand through sunroof, no need to come out. We didn't get one, just saw someone taking pictures.
Go from mon-wed and you go in les than 15 minutesaround 4:30-5 pm best time
