What do you mean? Fernbank Science Center is open Monday through Saturday most of the year except for the Saturdays of Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and sometimes Memorial Day and Independence Day. As part the DeKalb County School District, we also have modified hours during the Winter Holiday Break. We were open last Thursday and Friday (Dec 26-27) and will be open again on January 2-3 before resuming normal operations on January 6. Monday through Wednesday the exhibit hall is open to the public from Noon until 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday the hall is open from Noon until 9 p.m. with planetarium shows at 3, 4, 7, and 8 p.m Saturday hours are 10 a.m until 5 p.m. with planetarium shows at 11 a.m. noon, 1, 2, and 3 p.m. The observatory will resume normal operations on Thursday, January 9, 2020. It is open on Thursday and Friday nights from 9 until 10:30 p.m. as long as there are no clouds. The complete schedule always is available at www.fernbank.edu.

Yes...they are open Monday thru Friday and Saturdays. It may appear closed but they are open. You can always call.
