Went with 3 friends to kayak this pretty lake. Was charged $5 for each guest and a $4 -per kayak for launching fee. We checked the website prior to going. Very clearly documented fees. I'm a senior citizen and am free. The website said nothing about a launch fee for non fishing kayaks! The man at the window kept asking why we wanted to kayak there, since it will cost me a lot. Asked why we didn't kayak the free lakes in Stafford. He continued to ask questions as if we should not be there! That's when he added the extra $4 for each kayak to launch. This is a pretty lake, and we enjoyed paddling there. BUT... I believe that the "launch fee" was overkill and perhaps pocketed!
