Wing chun is good for seniors (because we assume we are slower, weaker, smaller than an opponent and use technique rather than skill) Wing chun md is accessible to adults, and there is also a teen class. There are several students who are about 50 but most students are younger. I recommend you contact Sifu and arrange to visit.
Hi Richard. Just seeing your question. Wing Chun is designed to work along with the natural structure of the human body and to avoid going head-to-head with your opponent (who may be bigger, faster, and stronger). This unique, efficient approach is well suited for seniors. That being said, adjusting to any new athletic routine is challenging, so you can expect that it will take a moment to adjust to our training (which is often physically intense). The best way to get a sense of training is to visit and observe a session. Contact us when you're ready to come check us out. Thanks
I’m interested in this art form although I would like to add 50 Is not a senior
