They used to hold bathtub races on Carroll Creek. I would check with the City of Frederick's Park and Recreation Dept.

Before the water plants and fish were introduced, they would have a kayak and paddle boat rental set up during special events. Have not seen that for the past five years.

I was reading the Carroll Creek Park Draft Plan, refered to by. this page, and it states "Boating All of the proposed pedestrian bridges will have enough headroom to accommodate small boats such as canoes, kayaks and paddle boats. Boaters will embark at Market Street and paddle as far as East Patrick Street and back to complete a one-mile trip." But doesn't include any specific rules or information. Who should I contact for info on the subject?
