As people have said you can do either. If you think you are going to go during a popular time I would recommend an appointment. If you are young to go during a down time I probably would not.

You can do both but i suggest booking (ahead of time) online if you can to guarantee a spot, or call to reserve if it's under the booking window time. The busier the day/time (Saturday/holidays), the more unlikely a walk in can be processed, especially if there is already a private room booked
