Thank you so much to Dr. Quant, nurses Jennifer and Barb, and receptionist Tracy for getting paperwork done lightning-fast on a Sunday morning! I've always had good experiences working in tandem with Homewood; I can tell the staff genuinely cares.

we have lived here for 6 years and found t wondeful.i we always get the sense that everone cares about you. references are always to the homewood family and staffseems carefully picked to be only those who love working with the elderly. facilities are excellent. we think food is an important part of the experience and here it is excellent. (they have the best crabcakes in town). because they are expanding maintenance is sometimes overworked, but when it's important they are there. we once had the hot water go out on friday night and it was fixed before noon on saturday.

This not a hotel, it's a retirement "community". There are 3 levels of care. Mist residents are living independently, there is also a small assisted living wing, and another area for terminal and seriously ill residents. It does look like a hotel, quite nice inside, but it's still an old folks home. For the price, you could check into the Ritz and order room service all day! They cater and market to "young" seniors - oh there are so many trips and games and booze. And when the time comes and you aren't able to keep up you receive so so care at 4x the price you came in on. This is suppose to be a non-profit. Ha ha. Somebody's wallowing in it.
