I had this happen and I had to go in person to the unemployment office. I found out my benefits expired. I recommend going to the building at 6am and waiting in line to put your name on a sign up sheet. Then around 10 am the office opens and they will call you on your phone and tell you to come inside depending on where your name is on the list. The reason you have to get there early before as many people as you can is because they only accept like 10 people to be seen in a day. So if you show up in the line and your at the end with many people in front of you they will not allow you to be seen and will ask you to come back again. When I got there at 6am there was already 5 people ahead of me. I hope this helps

Also, people can arrive late to the morning line which can be more like a group instead of a line. The late-comers can mingle with the group and cut in front of you.

Me, neither. I've filed an appeal, but the automated system does not recognize my social security number now.
