There is a stray cat with a large sore at the base of her tail. We have fed her the last 3 days. We have several humans with dander allergies and cant take her in, but it breaks our hearts to see her like that wanting to be petted. What can we do?

I have called them in April for a stray around my home and was told that Berkeley Co does not come out to get cats as the county has a huge cat problem also animal control doesn't deal with cats and that is again what animal control told me as I called both

If you can pet her and pick her up, get her in a pet carrier and get her to the shelter. They can help her then.
