Most police are polite and reasonable. There is one on the force that gives out fines for something you are innocent of and seems to just like to show his power over you. He must have some personal problems, to accuse an old woman on her way to church of drugs and having guns in her car and threatening to put her in jail, and for accusing her of trying to flee for these reasons, when all she had in her car were some Easter lilies and went over the speed limit for one block. It seems there is always one bad apple that ruins the reputation for the rest. This is one reason I stopped giving donations to help the police.

They do not charge as long as you are in city limits.
