The normal business hours for this establishment are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. They are not open on the weekends. Anyone who takes their gowns to be altered for formal events need to be prepared to try on their dresses before they leave the shop. If you try on the dress before you leave you can see what's wrong and you can ask for it to be fixed. If you take the dress home and wait until the day of the event to complain nobody can fix it. If the seamstress is unable or unwilling to complete the task you are asking of her you're more than able to speak to either of the owners who are there 90% of the day, Larry and Ann Wade. Also maybe you should try bringing in your dress early. Granted I don't know how long before your event you brought your gowns in, but the earlier you get your dresses in the easier it is to fix issues without there being a time crunch.
Both of the women who work in the alterations department work their tails off to get that work done!! They get a bunch of rush orders for both prom and the marine core ball, which happen to be within weeks of each other. So if they are closed the weekend of prom it's because they've been working overtime to get all that done. I'm sorry if you had a bad experience but they've been nothing but great for myself, my wedding party and everyone else I know who has used them.
I need it for buttons replaced on the suit and they wanted to charge me $4 per button plus labor just to sew a button on I'm not going back there either I've been that was several months ago when I Won't Go Back
