Just eat if you want wifi go somewhere else maybe they will in the future! Or ask them if they have wifi customers can use!
Because they need all the wireless traffic to go toward the android pads at the table. To much traffic and it will be to hard to order another drink or dessert.
Applebee's does... Chipotle does... All other sit down "Specialty" restaurants do. But Not Chilli's! None of the Locations!!!
Unfortunately, from a business standpoint, WiFi is a luxury, a bonus so to speak, that they give. From what I understand, Chili's doesn't & never did advertise having free wifi.
Put the phone down and eat.
What time is happy hour and what at the specials?
My guess would be they are trying to get you to use the Ziosks to play games etc instead of using your phone.
Why do you want public Wi-Fi? It is completely unsecured and puts you at risk.
