As of today 9:30 am its not working
I was there yesterday. It worked. The keypad screen is cracked but I just guessed, put my pin in and it worked!
Was working 3 weeks ago when I brought in an SUV. Not sure about right now. They changed the device so it's wired and doesn't run on battery anymore. I couldn't get the code scanner to work so I had to enter the code manually to bring up my vehicle info.
I can assure you it was functional as of the 30th 0f January when I went there. Yea so for the most part info has to be entered manually and maybe depending on your car it literally takes no time for the test to be completed after all info is entered.

I was there last week. I can confirm that it is wired and the scanner didn't work but you can enter the info manually.
