We were there Easter Sunday at lunchtime, had a 10 minute wait in a queue, but we were still able to get a table inside and have bar meals. Bar meals there were what many pubs in Britain would call specials. They were special and large. Most people had booked in advance. Impressed by the level of dressing up to attend.
It is a hit or miss. 2 weeks should get you in no problem. Ask for an outside table
We didn't book in advance and was easy to get a table... but it was April and the weather was a bit up & down... On warm days it gets very busy... I would recommend you book a table before you leave (You can always cancel). Lots of outdoor and indoor seating available. You can always take a seat at the bar and wait for a table to come available... as you walk in there is a desk where the staff will tell you what's available at that time. Enjoy. 👍👍👍
We were lucky and got a table right away. It was just before noon on a Friday. By the time we left the line was out the door and our into the parking area. I strongly suggest reservations!
You can make them two months in advance. They fill up fast also so make sure you look often to see when your date opens.
