Use ParkWhiz to find parking garages near the venue. We used it and found a garage .1 of a mile from the arena for $37. Not bad considering the distance and last minute timing.

No parking. Paid parking at mall across street
Take the subway
There is several parking garages in the area. Use ParkWhiz for the best price. Don't look for street parking because there's too many restrictions.
We went like 2 hours before the game and we found street parking about half a mile away from the arena. That's 8-10 minutes walk.
You might find street parking if go to the event/game early
