I will be going to the Barclay Center for a show, I haven't been before. I have a floor seat 8 rows from the stage. Can anyone advise if the stage is a high or low one? As I am small, 5' 3", I am hoping for a high floor so I will be able to see

Depends on the act that is there, most acts bring their own stages.

Depends if the crowd is standing or sitting

Yes, it depends on the show. The stages are usually low to maximize proximity for attendees who bought the best seats, but most shows are also choreographed so everyone attending has a great experience. It sounds like you have pretty sweet seats, but you may be facing the stage from any direction. It's hard to say more without additional info, but my guess is that you are in for a great night.
