Froggy I lived there for 4 years and I can tell you some great parking for free. But you'd either have to take the B65 or walk for 20 minutes. It's not complicated as the big clock is your landmark and you walk twords it.But then you can get closer because around the Barclays center is a neighborhood. But look to walk 10-20 minutes from most.I will email as it's wordy.I will email by Sunday the 1st of October.
Parking is horrible Period. Barclay Center does not have a patrons' parking lot. You have to pay for parking or try to find parking on the street The avenues that the center is located on are shopping and restaurant hubs either no parking zones 2hr meter parking bus stops ect. Street parking spots are for sale online ranging frm $25-$55 or more depending on the night, the event and parking spot location It can take anywhere between 5mins-45 mins or more to find a parking spot blocks away from the Center on the residential streets (which are the same blocks that have the paid parking spots) and even the parking garages are a 10-20 minute walk from Center, including the one located across the street at the mall that isn't 24hrs I live in the area and been to Barclay countless times You CAN FIND parking its just a shot in the dark So its STRONGLY recommended to take a cab or public transportation which are located a few steps away from entrance so much easier and convenient!
So a year later to this question and the answers given, if anyone is still interested: there are now 5 parking garages with a one block radius of the center. The cheapest being the mall if you get there before 5 p.m.. It will be $20 after 5pm it jumps to $45 on event days. Or park a few blocks back, closer to the McDonald's on Pacific street and just walk up.
I found parking on their website onsite for $23. I still took the train but it is an option
No parking except expensive lots. You could get street parking but usually they are not available.
