Is there any way to disable auto braking function. I live on a busy street and have to back up rapidly often. The brake slam on and leave me in a dangerous position half in and half out of my driveway.

Yes you can disable your system. I have a ram 1500 I disable my system . YouTube I will tell you how to do it.

just look up the model of your car and search how to turn it off. I agree auto braking is a pretty stupid feature most of the time.

There are switches for front and back below the screen. Just push to turn off when you wish to disable.
