As a first time visitor, I was happy to find that this little shop that has specialty quilting fabric lines like Moda, Hoffman and Freespirit. The  customer service was exceptional.  Karen inquired about my project and made suggestions. Besides cotton quilting fabric, they had quilt patterns and nice knit fabrics for attire. I am definitely inspired to make a return visit.

My almost 10 year old daughter took a sewing class here and really loved it. The price for the amount of time and activities you get to do is more than fair and the teacher never made her feel at all rushed or stupid which is something I worried about a little - my other daughter had previously taken a crocheting class at a Joann's and despite being the only person who showed up to the class it was a disaster that put her off even trying anything similar. Sometimes these environments can feel very unwelcoming and insular but this store and the ladies who run it seem very kind and welcoming. The store itself is very good sized and I hope they eventually offer more classes for kids.
