This place is one of the best little meat markets around for Amish meets great food for barbecuing whatever type of cooking you're doing and pretty much any kind of meat that you need quality people friendly a little small quaint but knowledgeable people I give it a 10 on a scale of 10 you would love this place

Call the store at 586-468-4501 for available sizes and pricing or to place an order. Both are great holiday turkeys...and are fresh at Thanksgiving only. We like the features on the turkeys we carry. Amish raised turkeys are also good birds but we don't sell them here.

A carton of organic Sauder's Eggs is $4.99 here. A carton of not-so-organic Eggland's Best is $4.59 at Kroger. A pack of 6 fresh 1/4 lb. beef patties is ~$7 here. A box of 4 frozen Simple Truth Organic 1/4 lb. burgers are ~$10 or $11 at Kroger. So it's usually cheaper or comparable to shop here. However, the taste and quality are much better here so even on the rare occasions it's slightly more expensive, if they sell it here I will buy it here.

Hi Kelly and thanks for the question. Sorry for any confusion. In beef we carry products from both USA and Mexico. We clearly mark the country of origin on our labels and our website documents this in our FAQ section. The companies we buy from do not use steroids, chemicals and hormones. Most of our bone-in steaks will be from Mexico and select boneless steaks are from USA. Our chicken and pork products our only from USA. You can just park in front and call for curbside pickup Monday through Saturday. They also clean and sanitize carts, baskets and countertops after every customer. I'd say it's a safe place to shop.

Mostly fresh, I love this market! Bring a jacket for their meat section walk-in, it is very cold keeping everything very fresh.
