What is needed to volunteer for this organization? Do you need to have a reference of people or a reference letter? Can you volunteer with the children? Can you volunteer for to help there kitchen staff?

There are a couple different volunteer roles for volunteering here. For the safety of the children, we do background checks, references, interviews, and orientation trainings. Aside from that, to volunteer at the center, you primarily just need reliable transportation. We do not have a "kitchen staff" though. We do not serve all visitors a meal via a cafeteria style set up. We do however set out pastries, snacks, and other food donations. Volunteers and visitors are allowed to use the kitchen (stove and microwave) for preparing their food though.
