You do not have to validate your ticket if you have an additional free ticket. A validated ticket will not permit the use of the free ticket as one cancels out the other due to the rate difference. Just be sure that your stay is within the time frame stated on the free parking ticket. FYI, on exit you must first insert the parking ticket that you pulled to get into the garage followed by the free parking ticket.
Definitely validate it and go to your car within 10 minutes.
Yes you have to validate your ticket before you leave and you have like 10 minutes to leave the parking lot if not your ticket goes back to regular price
