We purchased a reclinerin March, had it for one week and it broke. We have the protection plan on top of it only being a week old. We were told they had to repair not replace and its been 6 weeks and no part.
I would have to agree with what's already been written. It would appear that you're out of any form of warranty. Perhaps R&F can help with a discount on a new dining set. Good luck.

If you purchased the Platinum protection you are covered for 5years. Otherwise they do have a service center you can call to see if it is covered still by the manufacturer. Most furniture is only covered for a year. They can set up a service to repair but they will not be able to replace.
You should contact your store to arrange for someone to come out. It may be able to be fixed but if under warranty they will replace it.
