You have to purchase their socks, but if you decide to return, you can bring those socks back and they won't ask you to buy again. It might be that they have the anti slippery stuff stuck to them to prevent falls.
Apparently they do not allow your own socks...that seems odd and very frustrating...they already charge you for an entrance fee and then an additional charge for their socks...
