Each concert is different. As others have said, contact The House of Blues directly. I had a similar situation, with special seats endations they cleared it right up.

Do you remember if you had to put your name down on a guest list? If so then I suggest calling the venue to find out their policy.
I'd call HOB directly to ask them.
I don't know. I have never been to an event there. We just visited the restaurant. Suggest you Google their website and see what their exchange policy is.
