If my brother has fairly large check in his name issued by BMO Harris bank as a payout from a Trust. Can he sign it over to me and have it deposited in my Northstar account if we are both present? Thank you.

If both of you are present and provide identification, that should be fine. That said, without seeing the physical check we cannot guarantee anything until you stop in.
